Here are some of the ways deceased loved ones communicate with us from the other side: Through Dreams When we are dreaming, we are very open to communication from deceased loved ones and from the other side in general. Great-granny turned up, looking frail, grey and old — just how I remember her. It was a nice dream, but I forgot about it soon after I woke up. Then, just before the shops were shutting at the end of the day, we found a gorgeous brown dress. My mum tried on the brown dress and it fit beautifully and she looked gorgeous in it. Then all of a sudden I remembered the dream where great-granny had told me that mum looked lovely in brown and I told mum about it. How do you know if your deceased loved one is visiting you in a dream or not? You might feel their love or affection for you, transmitted in the dream whereas before there was no particular mood or feeling to the dream. The setting of the dream may suddenly change to somewhere quite symbolic and it may become more vivid.

‘My dead husband would be glad his best friend is looking after me and his children’ Michelle Nicklin lost Jamie, 24, to cancer when she was pregnant with their twins but found happiness again.
Dear Captain Awkward, I am a 34 year old straight woman in an open marriage with a 39 year straight man. I have taken far more advantage of the openness of our marriage than my husband, at least until recently. I have had a string of long-term affairs and short-term flings. During the past 8 months I have basically been living with another man in a neighbouring town to the one I live in.
I am drawn to men who are starkly different than my husband, who is an intellectual, moderate in terms of his vices and has a disdain for the type of men who spend every evening in a pub. I have a drinking problem but it is not a problem I feel any need to resolve and I am drawn to men who are also drinkers like me. I can have a glass of wine in the morning and drink until I pass out in the afternoon and wake up when my lover comes home and go to the pub with him and start drinking again.

Are you sure you want to delete this answer? Yes Sorry, something has gone wrong. Its been 5 years. While I’m sure she is not trying to replace her husband, is it so surprising that her deceased husband’s brother would have many of the same positive characteristics that attracted her to her husband? Perhaps similar morals, values, experiences? I’m sure she dosn’t view him as a substitiute, she’d know both of them better then anyone in the world, and I’m sure the subtle differances between them are very obvious to her.
But on broad, critical things, she might find the same things. As for the child, I imagine that it might actually be easier for this man to raise the child, since he was allready the child’s uncle. Furthermore, they both shared the loss of someone they both loved, and that probable impacts both of them in ways that others may find hard to understand. I’m sure some things will be wierd for them at first, but at least I guess it will be wierd for both of them together, and they’ll get through it together.
They’ve both suffered, and I hope they can find love and joy together for many years. Interesting how many people have known for this to happen in their extended families. Perhaps it is quite common?

We love each other very much and love to have fun, in more ways than you can imagine.
